Overview
Bell/Valet Attendant (On-Call, Temporary) at Alila Ventana Big Sur.
OrganizationAlila Ventana Big Sur – an all-inclusive resort on Ventana Big Sur, Alila Hotels, a Hyatt Hotels brand.
Responsibilities- Escort guests to and from rooms efficiently.
- Transport luggage and personal items to and from rooms.
- Maintain continuous communication with Front Office and Valet.
- Ensure guests are comfortable with accommodations and familiar with room offerings and features.
- Engage in casual conversation and provide hotel or local recommendations.
- A desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- Physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
- Tolerance for moderate amounts of walking.
- Flexibility to work a schedule including weekends and holidays.
Evening shifts primarily 2 pm‑10 pm or 3 pm‑11 pm; weekends required; opportunities for AM shifts 7 am‑3 pm.
Wage and BenefitsHourly: $17 per hour. Eligible for service charge payout $200‑$300 per week (subject to change based on business levels). Full‑time benefits include 401 K match, medical, dental, vision after 30 days, paid time off, paid meal breaks, gas stipend, complimentary daily meal, Headspace subscription, tuition reimbursement, family assistance policy.
