SSM Health Day Institute is seeking a Physical Therapist to work in our specialized outpatient rehabilitation program. We have ten centers across the St. Louis Metro area serving individuals recovering from a traumatic injury or illness who no longer require 24‑hour nursing or acute rehabilitative care. Our approach is comprehensive and interdisciplinary, focusing on building skills and maximizing independence. - Evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction.
- Delegate and direct all discipline‑specific therapy services for assigned patients.
- Design functional treatment programs enabling effective return to community activities.
- Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and oneself.
- Perform related professional duties associated with patient care, discipline‑specific therapy services, and program delivery.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required.
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure required.
