Radiation Therapist – St. Joseph Hospital, Eureka, CA
The Radiation Therapist eph Hospital in Eureka, CA is a full‑time, day‑shift position that delivers therapeutic radiation treatments under the direction of the Department Manager and the supervision of the Lead Radiation Therapist.
Responsibilities- Administer therapeutic radiation treatments using modern radiotherapy techniques.
- Perform procedures to set up, plan, and verify the accuracy of treatment delivery.
- Utilize all modalities and equipment in accordance with departmental standards.
- Collaborate with the oncology team to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
- Completed formal therapeutic radiologic technology training at an approved school.
- National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
- California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire, or California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
- Specialized training in diametric techniques and physics of treatment planning.
- Competitive base salary: $53.80 – $68.90 per hour, with shift differentials and overtime available.
