3. This full‑time, day‑time position supports high‑level analytical and administrative tasks within risk management and regulatory operations.
- Manage the General Liability program.
- Investigate Employment Practices Liability cases.
- Support regulatory affairs efforts in survey preparedness and onsite regulatory investigations.
- Assist Directors and Managers with other projects as assigned.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills to lead projects and manage diverse workload within assigned time frames.
- Strong analytical skills to understand complex system reports and translate data into actionable insights.
- Resourceful; able to locate and gather information not readily available.
- Customer‑service skills appropriate to the role.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and coordination abilities.
- Proficient in PC skills; experience designing and maintaining custom databases, producing reports, and manipulating data.
- Experience working with physicians, faculty, managers, and high‑level administrative staff.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience in risk management or regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience maintaining work pace and effective relationships across the Health System.
- 3 years’ experience in risk management or healthcare regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of subpoena process laws.
- Knowledge of university and medical center policies, procedures, and forms.
- Knowledge of UC policies and procedures.
