Locum Jobs Online  is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Pediatrics PA in California! This position is a 60‑day locum tenens assignment starting Dec 8, 2025. Schedule is Monday‑Friday with day shifts from 8am to 5pm. The assignment focuses on pediatric care, serving a diverse patient population in a setting where the majority of patients are Spanish‑speaking, supported by translators and Spanish‑speaking medical assistants.

• Provide outpatient pediatric care to a diverse patient base, with approximately 75 percent Spanish‑speaking patients
• Work with support staff including translators and Spanish‑speaking medical assistants to optimize communication and care delivery
• Manage a patient demographic with 78 percent covered by Medical/Medicaid
• Utilize experience in FQHC, rural health, or IHS environments as applicable
• Ensure all care meets current clinical and regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high‑quality pediatric services

• Locum experience is required
• Recent experience in a pediatric setting is essential
• Must have active California licensure, DEA, and furnishing license
• Required board certifications:
  Family Medicine, Pediatrics, or Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (PPCNP‑BC)
