CERTIFIED Medical Assistants needed for Corrections facility in San Diego, California.
The CMA provides support assisting medical professionals by taking vital signs, administering medication, and documenting medical histories. Key duties include preparing examination areas, providing wound care and managing medical supplies.
$26 hourly
Mon - Fri, 8am - 4:30pm
23 week contract position with very likely extension
Requirements- Active certification as a Medical Assistant from AAMA, NCCT, CCBMA, AMT or AMCA
- Active BLS from American Heart Association
- Prefer at least 6 months of acute care work experience
