Job Summary:

This role performs routine histology workflows, including paraffin embedding, sectioning, and staining to support accurate and timely pathological analysis. The position ensures high‑quality slide preparation while maintaining regulatory compliance and efficient laboratory operations.## What You’ll Be Doing:
* Prepare tissue samples and slides for microscopic evaluation using standard histology techniques
* Perform routine and special staining procedures to support diagnostic and research activities
* Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot histology laboratory equipment
* Support process improvements, documentation updates, and lab 6S initiatives
* Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and other regulatory requirements##

What We Are Looking For :

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Experience performing microtomy, embedding, staining, and related histology procedures
* Proficiency with laboratory instruments and routine equipment troubleshooting
* Familiarity with laboratory information systems and Microsoft Office applications

Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree## The Knowledge,

Needed for This Role:
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in laboratory workflows
* Effective communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high quality and compliance

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.##
