Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic vision and execution of digital initiatives that enhance the overall patient, provider, and researcher experience, drive operational excellence, and advance the health system’s mission of delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
  • Oversee product management & enablement: define product requirements, prioritize features, manage timelines, budgets, and value realization while ensuring cost‑effective alignment with user needs and organizational goals.
  • Drive technology product strategy: develop and maintain comprehensive, business‑aligned technology roadmaps, strategies, and patterns in line with the mission and objectives of the Academic Medical Health System.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders—clinicians, administrators, IT professionals, marketing, researchers, and external partners—to gather insights, solicit feedback, and foster cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Prioritize clinical best practice, user experience, and usability in the design and development of digital products, ensuring they are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with the needs of both patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in healthcare innovation and across the digital landscape, evaluating their potential impact and feasibility for adoption within the COH.
  • Support governance around the development and implementation of technology products, solutions and innovations, partnering with Finance, Compliance, Risk and Security to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to measure the efficacy and impact of technology on patient outcomes, clinical workflows, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee change management initiatives to facilitate technology adoption across the system, providing training, support, and a culture of continuous learning.
  • Leverage data analytics and insights to inform technology strategy and measure the impact of new and existing initiatives, supporting development of comprehensive business case rigor and detailed financial analysis practices.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, partners, and consultants involved in strategy, product development and implementation, negotiating contracts and overseeing service delivery.
  • Manage a team of product owners, analysts, managers and designers, supporting their growth and development while growing healthcare products, solutions and experiences aligned with business objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, information technology or related field.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in driving product and project strategy, design, development, execution, evaluation, and product management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related discipline.
  • Matrixed health system, product development, design thinking, business development, hospital operations experience preferred.
  • In‑depth knowledge of healthcare operations, regulations and patient care.
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies, including EPIC (EMR), virtual care, mobile health apps, and data analytics.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, coupled with expertise in digital products, innovation methodology and business strategy.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and compliance requirements in healthcare.
  • Excellent leadership and staff management skills.
  • Deep experience with product management tools and measurements for ROI.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally with all levels of an organization.
  • Understand and manage complex project management functions.
  • Be able to work in a complex, matrixed healthcare environment that requires intense interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Self‑starter with strong organizational and problem‑solving skills and the ability to work with multiple priorities.
