Home | Registered Nurse – Emergency Room / Trauma
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room/Trauma- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred, but not required
- 2+ years’ experience in an emergency medical setting
- Strong ability to work well on a team
- Exceptional communication skills
- TNCC and ENPC certification preferred, but not required
- ACLS, PALS, and BLS (AHA)
- Maintain care standards in the Emergency Room
- Assist with patient check-in, triage, and initial insurance paperwork
- Collaborate with doctors to update patients and families on test results and treatment plans
- Coordinate with laboratory staff to report initial lab findings to ER doctors
- Arrange care for patients requiring admission for one night or longer
- Shift: Day shifts; ability to work independently with an ER Technician
- On-call/call-back required (respond within 20 minutes)
