This is a limited term position which may be extended. New to State candidates will be hired at the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of the alternate range when applicable. Final Filing Date:

• Provide coverage in a part-time capacity as a Clinical Social Worker in a dual appointment. The additional appointment must be a distinctly different role from the primary job, and the employee cannot be a supervisor, manager, or executive.
• Onsite dual appointments at the primary institution may be available.
• Apply clinical social work skills within a health/correctional facility setting in the Safety program.

• Minimum: CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER (HEALTH/CORRECTIONAL FACILITY) - SAFETY (as specified in the Class Specification).
• Desirable: Possession of a valid Associate Clinical Social Worker license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science; willingness to foster an equitable and inclusive workplace where diversity is valued.

• Time worked is not considered overtime.
• Time worked will be outside your normal hours.
• Dates and hours of work will be determined by the hiring location.
