OverviewThe Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is the backbone of California’s health care safety net. This is an exciting opportunity to join our diverse team as a Contractor Analyst I under the direction of the Contract Compliance and Communication Unit (CCCU).
Responsibilities- Resolve issues related to contractual interpretation, quality of care, member services, eligibility, and scope of benefits.
- Analyze health plan performance by reviewing provider data reports, network structures, policies, marketing materials, and other contractually required submissions.
- Evaluate deliverables to ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Review plan inquiries and approve deliverables, coordinating with other divisions as needed; review reports, performance data, and contract submissions (e.g., provider directories, marketing materials, newsletters).
- Research and provide guidance to health plans on Medi‑Cal program requirements and policies.
