Registered Dietitian

Per Diem position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager and Director of Nutritional Services, the clinical dietitian is responsible for providing daily in‑patient nutritional care through screening and assessment of patients, nutrition consultation, and nutrition education for in‑ and outpatients. Additional duties include developing policies and procedures; creating in‑service/competency education for staff; supervising diet office staff and functions; supporting department performance improvement plan; and attending routine meetings and/or interdisciplinary rounds as requested by the supervisor.

The hospital has a 238‑bed community network: a 160‑bed acute‑care hospital and a 78‑bed rehabilitation campus, certified by The Joint Commission. It employs more than 1,250 trained healthcare workers and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians representing more than 40 specialties.

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or a related field.
• Current BLS (CPR) certificate.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (must pass exam within 3 months of hire).
