At Radiant Health Centers, we're more than just a health organization, we're a safe haven, a family, and a movement. As Orange County’s only LGBTQ+ focused health center, we provide care for over 5,000 individuals each year, offering everything from HIV treatment and prevention to primary care, mental health services, housing support, and nutritional programs.

As we grow, we’re searching for a Medical Director who’s driven by purpose, fueled by compassion, and ready to help shape a healthier future for our community.

About the Role:

As Medical Director, you'll blend clinical expertise with strategic leadership to help guide a talented team of providers while delivering meaningful patient care. You’ll be at the heart of an inclusive, mission-driven team that believes health is a right, not a privilege.

You will:

• Lead, inspire, and support medical staff including physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied health providers.
• Report directly to the CEO and collaborate with leadership to guide clinical strategy, expand services, and continuously enhance care.
• Balance 60–80% administrative leadership with 20–40% patient care, delivering high-quality, culturally affirming care while guiding clinical strategy and operations.
• Help guide clinic operations, maintain compliance within an FQHC setting, lead new program growth.
• Represent within the community to help build strong partnerships and awareness.

Who You Are:

• A compassionate leader with a strong clinical and operational background.
• Passionate about health equity, LGBTQ+ care, and serving individuals impacted by HIV.
• Skilled in mentoring teams, inspiring collaboration, and cultivating a positive, supportive workplace culture.
• Experienced in FQHC, community health, or nonprofit settings.
• A Medical Doctor with a current CA license and 3–5+ years of leadership experience.
