Chief Compliance Officer – Autism & IDD

TH Daniels Global Executive Search & Selection is a renowned firm operating globally, known for delivering top-notch Executive Search solutions. We have joined forces with a leading ABA therapy provider catering to the Autism and IDD markets across multiple states. As the company expands its national footprint, we are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Chief Compliance Officer.
The Role- Reporting directly to the CEO, the CCO will have full ownership of the company’s compliance strategy and execution, ensuring we scale responsibly while maintaining the highest ethical and regulatory standards.
- You will lead a team consisting of a Director of Compliance, Compliance Specialists, and Credentialers and act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.
- Own and evolve the corporate compliance program across all operations (policies, training, auditing, investigations, corrective actions).
- Oversee compliance with HIPAA/HITECH, Medi-Cal/EPSDT, and commercial payer requirements.
- Ensure accurate and compliant ABA billing, documentation, credentialing, and supervision standards.
- Lead internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance workplans aligned with company growth.
- Partner with Operations, Clinical Leadership, HR, IT, and Finance to embed a culture of compliance.
- 10+ years of healthcare compliance experience, including leadership at scale.
- Experience building or maturing a provider-side compliance program.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, audit readiness, privacy, and billing integrity.
- Proven ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a growing organization.
- Advanced degree (JD, MHA, MPH, or similar) and/or compliance certification (CHC, CHPC, CCEP preferred).
