Job DutiesPerform and ensure patient safety while operating sonography equipment. Assist physicians in the detection and localization of patient anatomy, using appropriate technical factors and positioning and shielding techniques for infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Requirements- Completion of a Sonography program or documented experience
- Ultrasound license with ARDMS or ARRT preferred (but not required)
- Current BLS certification
Salary depends on experience or contract pay (paid per exam with a minimum payment for a single exam).
