SummaryThe Lead Medical Assistant serves as a role model in the office by guiding other Medical Assistants in their daily responsibilities, providing training, and communicating procedural and policy updates. This role acts as a liaison between the department and the Office Manager. In addition to leadership duties, the Lead Medical Assistant performs patient‑oriented clinical tasks under the supervision of the Office Manager and/or Physician, including assisting in the examination and treatment of patients, interviewing patients, measuring and recording vital signs, and documenting in the EMR.
Education and Experience- High school diploma or equivalent required; graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- 5+ years of experience in a clinical setting.
