Nurse Aide Trainee; NAT - Fenton

Overview

Join the Fenton location of Delmar Gardens Family as a Nurse Aide Trainee (NAT) and help keep our residents safe, clean and comfortable.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age 18.
• Desire to work with and care for the senior population.
• Completion of the 14‑week Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) training program.
• Must pass the state competency test within 120 days of certification.
• Basic computer skills and use of touchscreen devices for documentation.

• Provide day‑to‑day resident care under the supervision of RN, LPN or CNA staff.
• Report resident grievances and concerns to nursing supervisors and charge nurses.
• Maintain resident rights, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
• Follow work assignments and schedules to complete assigned tasks.
• Assist residents with food arrangements, bed positioning, and personal care as instructed.
• Check residents routinely and respond promptly to call lights.
• Transport residents to new rooms or appointments as needed.
• Use kitchen, bathing, grooming, and ambulation equipment safely.
• Keep accurate documentation in electronic health records.
• Perform any additional duties as required by state regulations and assigned supervisors.
