Our client’s Pain Management department is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Patient Coordinator to assist with front desk operations, patient intake, scheduling, and insurance verification in a busy outpatient clinical environment. This onsite position plays a key role in ensuring patients receive efficient, accurate, and compassionate service.

• Greet patients, complete check-ins, and verify insurance
• Distribute and collect required questionnaires
• Confirm demographic information and patient identification
• Collect co-pays and verify payment details
• Check insurance eligibility and coverage
• Obtain authorizations for consultations, procedures, and follow-up visits
• Support general scheduling and appointment coordination
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and workspace

• Experience with patient scheduling and appointment coordination
• Proven ability to obtain insurance authorizations
• Front desk experience in a clinical or hospital setting
• Comfort with collecting co-pays and verifying insurance

• Experience with Cerner or other electronic health record systems
• Previous experience with hospital or medical group workflows
• Prior experience supporting a Pain Management or similar specialty clinic
