• Full-Time – Day Shift
  
  Hours:
  
  Mon – Fri (Hours will vary between 6:30am – 5pm, 8‑hour shifts)
• Float within the same facility between inpatient and outpatient phlebotomy labs
• All shifts will be on Missouri Baptist Campus
• Collect blood and urine samples from patients in outpatient settings
• Weekend Rotation – once every 3 weeks (Enjoy time off during the week to balance your personal life)
• Extra Holiday Pay – Holidays will be required while earning top dollar when you work on your designated holidays each year:
  Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day

• 2 years of Phlebotomy experience (highly preferred)
• Experienced expert with blood draw
• Background as a Phlebotomist, Lab Technician, Lab Associate, or in Laboratory Blood Draw is desirable
• Experience in any of the following areas is a plus:
  Phlebotomist, Lab Technician, Lab Associate, Laboratory, Blood draw

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Phlebotomy experience (preferred)

The laboratory performs over 1 million tests annually, focusing on accurate and timely results and services to patients and the community we serve. The laboratory is fully accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), and the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB).

Perform specimen collection, specimen handling, and clerical duties. Experienced in phlebotomy and proficient in performing additional tasks such as central processing duties, in‑office phlebotomy, or inventory management.

Perform specimen collection, handle specimens, and assist with clerical duties in the outpatient lab, physician office, or off‑campus patient service center. Coordinate simultaneous tasks accurately, including STAT orders and workload fluctuations, and prioritize work to meet scheduled hours and turnaround times. May perform registration, inventory maintenance, and other duties as assigned.

• Interpret physician orders and order tests in appropriate system.
• Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction; ensure proper collection and specimen integrity.
• Sort and process specimens received by the laboratory and proficiently handle all specimens.
