Schedule:
Part‑Time, 9:00 PM‑5:30 AM, rotating weekdays, weekends, and holidays. On‑call rotation.
Purpose Statement/
Position Summary:
The primary function for the Ultrasound Technician I is to perform diagnostic medical ultrasound procedures in accordance with established standards of the Radiology Department and under the supervision of the radiologist. Must be able to distinguish normal versus abnormal findings and record appropriate images for accurate interpretation. Medical Sonographer I are sonographers having 2 or fewer specialty certifications through ARDMS.
Minimum Qualifications /
Work Experience:
1 year ultrasound experience preferred. Pediatric experience of at least 2 years preferred but not required. Ability to perform diagnostic medical sonographic examinations. Hospital setting experience preferred.
Education / Licensure / Certification: Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound. ARDMS certification or eligibility for ARDMS license, CPR, certified in 1‑2 specialties.
Pay Scale Information: Posting range: $93,912.00‑$. Final determination of starting pay will vary based on education and experience.
