PRN - Dietary Aide

We are looking for a full-time and part-time Dietary Aide with a flexible schedule and weekend availability. The pay rate starts at $16+/hr, DOE. Prior skilled nursing facility experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include:

• Following department procedures and proper storage of dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Labeling and dating all food in refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage.
• Ensuring proper food handling to prevent contamination, improve quality, and reduce costs.
• Suggesting menu or recipe changes to utilize leftovers and supplies.
• Cleaning all food service equipment and storage areas.
• Maintaining proper food temperatures during preparation and service, recording temperatures as required.
• Assisting with tray line setup, assembling trays according to menu, resident preferences, and diet orders, within established schedules.
• Checking trays during service for accuracy.

Requirements include:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 months of related experience or training.
• Knowledge of special diets.
