PD Senior EEG Technologist–Neuro Diagnostics – Varied

Incumbent provides expertise required for electroencephalograph testing (EEG), Video/EEG monitoring and patient observation, long term video EEG monitoring (LTM), evoked potential (EVP) testing, brainmap testing, Corticography (ECOG), and surgical monitoring. Incumbent also will review and clip continuance monitoring, provide telemetry testing and other specialized procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including nursing floors, intensive care units and other specialized locations.

• Perform electroencephalograph (EEG) testing
• Conduct Video/EEG monitoring and long‑term video EEG monitoring (LTM)
• Execute evoked potential (EVP) testing, brainmap testing, and Corticography (ECOG)
• Provide surgical monitoring and review/clip monitoring records
• Provide telemetry testing and perform other specialized procedures in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Monitor and mentor students and EEG technologists

• Current R. EEG T. and/or R. EP T. from ABRET
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills in English
• Current BLS certification required by time of hire
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

• R.PSG.T or NBRC certification as a Polysomnography technologist
• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
• Experience with or willingness to learn interoperative nerve monitoring (IONM)
• Experience performing all phases of neurodiagnostic testing
