Job DescriptionUnder the general direction of the Senior Psychologist, Correctional Facility (CF) (Supervisor) or the Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker, CF, the Clinical Social Worker conducts assessments and summarizes case information to use in diagnosis, treatment (level of care), and dispositional release; diagnoses and/or collaborates in the formulation of a diagnosis; develops, monitors, and modifies treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team.
Provides assessments, group therapy, collateral conferences, and documents and evaluates patients’ progress in treatment. Coordinates placement with community resources and the Classification and Parole Representative.
- Conduct patient assessments and case summaries for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to formulate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Provide individual assessments, group therapy, and collateral conferences.
- Document and evaluate patient progress in treatment.
- Coordinate placement with community resources and parole representatives.
- Master of Social Work (MSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential.
- Experience in psychiatric and inpatient settings preferred.
- Ability to perform assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient progress documentation.
Base pay range: $8,678 - $9,319 per month. Additional 15% pay differential for direct patient care employees located within Psychiatric Inpatient Program.
Benefits & BonusesRecruitment and retention bonuses for newly hired clinicians, including a possible $10,000 one-time stipend and monthly differential up to $20,000. Referral bonus of $5,000 for current employees who refer a successful hire.
