Home Health Aide

Assists the professional nursing staff by performing simple nursing procedures and personal activities which enhance the safety and well being of the patient. All responsibilities carried out in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

• Provides patient care as directed by care plan.
• Develops and maintains effective communication with the patient/significant others and health team members.
• Participates in providing safe environment.
• Maintains equipment and supplies.
• Participates in in-service staff meetings to broaden knowledge base and acquire skills necessary to care for patients and increase personal growth.
• Demonstrates an awareness of responsibilities and professionalism.
• Contributes to a positive work climate and the promotion of patient satisfaction through compliance with customer relation standards.
• Performs related responsibilities as required or directed.
• Must have access to transportation sufficient to meet requirements of the job.
• Must retain current liability insurance and driver’s license.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.50 – $13.50 per hour
