Territory Account Manager, ViiV – Orange County, CA

This role is part of our long‑acting HIV Prevention Sales team, focused on driving new approaches to HIV prevention and treatment.
Responsibilities- Deliver results through exceptional sales and service.
- Identify, target, and win new business by influencing HCPs to adopt new HIV treatment approaches.
- Engage with HCPs, nurses, staff, and administrators to understand clinical, organizational, and financial challenges.
- Leverage data analytics, business acumen, and market expertise to identify high‑priority prospects.
- Prepare and execute tailored business plans that help HCPs scale treatment models.
- Coordinate and partner with cross‑functional team members (Clinical Nurses, Reimbursement Managers) to deliver an integrated product experience.
- Maintain portfolio‑based selling mindset and close internal communication loops.
- Provide exceptional customer service by proactively addressing HCP needs.
- Adapt execution plans to achieve KPIs and scale successes.
- Develop and foster external relationships with key customers and thought leaders.
- Act in ways consistent with ViiV’s culture, expectations, and values.
- Embrace ambiguity in a launch environment and view setbacks as learning opportunities.
- Escalate issues and risks when needed; speak up with courage.
- Follow key compliance and regulatory guidelines.
- BA/BS degree.
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
- 3+ years of specialty experience.
- Ability to travel domestically as necessary (including overnight travel). Majority of time will be spent in market.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences.
- Strong planning, organization, business acumen, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience influencing and collaborating cross‑functionally in a matrixed environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with complex market access coverage situations.
- Experience with cold‑chain management of treatment products.
- Knowledge of HIV treatment and/or prevention markets.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Experience partnering across a field‑based, integrated account team model.
The US annual base salary ranges from $139,500 to $232,500
, based on location, experience, education, and market rates. The position offers an annual bonus and eligibility for a share‑based long‑term incentive program. Benefits include health care, retirement plans, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave. All employees receive benefits consistent with GSK’s employee programs.
