Under the general supervision of Therapy Leadership and according to departmental policies regarding referral, standards of treatment, performs objective assessments, as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for direct supervision to patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, general supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

- Education:
Bachelor's, Master's of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy. - Licensure:
Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice. - Certifications:
BLS certified (required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently). - Experience:
Preferred 6 months to one year experience for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist, with experience in care for adult and geriatric patients.
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
