Position at Community Counseling Center, Cape Girardeau, MO.
Location: Perryville and Ste. Genevieve, Missouri
Employment type: Full Time (Exempt)
Work Hours: 8 AM – 4:30 PM Monday–Friday. Schedule may adjust for evening hours or alternate shifts.
Base Pay: $42,000 – $50,000 per year (dependent on licensure, certifications, and experience).
The JobProvide individual and group counseling for clients enrolled in the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) program, SOR/MAT program, gambling program, and ITCD program. Ensure compliance with stage‑wise treatment and Community Counseling Center policies and procedures.
Essential Functions- Facilitate counseling and education groups.
- Provide education to family members of SUD consumers.
- Deliver overdose education to clients and their families.
- Conduct individual counseling for clients enrolled in SUD, SOR/MAT, gambling, and ITCD programs.
- Offer coverage for the ITCD program as needed.
- Make appropriate referrals within Community Counseling Center and to external agencies.
- Transport clients in agency or personal vehicle as necessary.
- Attend ITCD multi‑disciplinary team meetings.
- Document according to clinical policies, DMH, CARF, and other federal/state program standards.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding client and personnel matters.
- Maintain compliance with all policy and procedures.
- Complete all required training.
- Work cooperatively with other departments and community members.
- Participate in all required meetings as determined by supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must meet the Division of Behavioral Health's definition of Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP). A QAP is either a Qualified Mental Health Professional or an individual who meets applicable training and credentialing required by the MO Credentialing Board for credentials such as CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP, CCDP, CCDP‑D, RADC‑P, or RADC.
- Must be able to obtain CPR/FA certification.

E) for current state of residence and current auto insurance.
