Located in northern Sacramento, Heritage Oaks is a fully accredited, 125-bed acute psychiatric hospital offering a full range of individualized treatment services to adolescents, adults, and senior adults, including treatment for substance abuse and chemical dependency issues with drugs and alcohol.

• The MAT Clinician provides high-quality 5150 assessments, disposition and limited case management services for clients in emergency departments and on medical floors. Evaluations for assessment, intervention, triage and teaching shall be provided in a manner consistent with the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of Heritage Oaks Hospital.
• Assess patients and write 5150s at Mercy Hospitals as appropriate.
• Respond to the four Mercy Hospitals in Sacramento or other medical facilities within one hour of being called.
• Competency with Mercy Hospital’s computerized charting system, including the following additional notations.

Schedule: Per Diem / NOC Availability: 12:00 AM – 7:30 AM

Education: Master’s degree in social services or behavioral health field.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years licensed experience working in crisis settings with psychiatric patients is required.

Additional Requirements: LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT license; valid CA driver license and clear driving record; current CPR certificate; and Handle with Care trained within 30 days of employment.
