Overview

Willis Knighton Bossier campus is seeking a certified surgical technologist, or eligible to become certified, to assist our professional staff. Our facility has seven inpatient surgical suites and a four-suite outpatient pavilion. This facility is Bossier City’s only full-service community hospital, offering a variety of surgical procedures with an emphasis on orthopedic sports medicine procedures.

All applicants must be a graduate of an accredited program for surgical technologists. Call will be required with a 30-minute mandatory response time.

• Assist all surgical staff members
• Ensure each patient receives optimal care
• Follow national patient safety goals
• Assist with case preparation
• Assist in draping patients
• Perform instrument counts
• Ensure supplies are available and equipment is in proper working order prior to all procedures

• Certified surgical technologist, or eligible to become certified
• Graduate of an accredited program for surgical technologists
• Ability to meet a 30-minute response time for call duty
