Under the direction of the Program Manager I (PM I), the Infrastructure/Natural Cultural Resources (INF/NCR) incumbent works within the Recovery Support Functions (RSF) Division to support disaster-impacted communities by providing technical assistance to assess long-term impacts of disasters, identify local unmet needs, and coordinate recovery assistance and programs available to communities.
Serve as the coordinating mechanism to build, sustain, and deliver state resources to support local, tribal, and state recovery after a disaster. Undertake rehabilitation and reconstruction of affected infrastructure systems while supporting infrastructure resilience and helping state and tribal governments and communities address long-term environmental and cultural resource recovery needs. Collaborate across recovery areas with local, tribal, state, federal governments, non-profits, and private sector to align capabilities.
Coordinate access to recovery resources including technical assistance and funding opportunities available through state and federal partners affiliated with the RSFs.
Perform research, coordination, and analytical tasks to support the six primary recovery function outcomes:
Community Planning and Capacity Building, Economic, Health and Social Services, Housing, Infrastructure, and Natural and Cultural Resources, with emphasis on Infrastructure and/or Natural Cultural Resources. Focus on restoring infrastructure and services, improving resiliency, and addressing environmental and cultural resource recovery needs in line with post-disaster priorities and applicable laws.

Working ConditionsLocation:
Recovery Support Functions Unit, Mather, CA. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule; in-office days may be required based on business need. This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code and requires Form 700 within 30 days of appointment. Travel may be extensive in support of emergency operations and may require irregular hours and relocation to emergency sites.
