General State Of DutiesThe position performs a variety of duties and is expected to consistently exercise a high degree of initiative, independence, and originality in performing assigned tasks. The role involves public and employee contact and correspondence, requiring knowledge and application of regulations, policies, and procedures. Good judgement, confidentiality, and effective communication are primary importance.

Effective July 1, 2025, state employees are subject to a salary reduction of three percent in exchange for five hours per month of personal leave.
Temporary state housing may be available for those relocating to fill hard‑to‑recruit positions. Housing assignments and rates will be determined in accordance with department policy, operational priorities, and applicable labor agreements.

Special Requirements- The position requires the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the class specifications. You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed prior to being hired. Additional information regarding acceptable typing tests is available at the website.
- The position requires a background investigation be cleared prior to being hired.
- The position requires medical clearance prior to being hired.
