Special Requirements
  • Medical clearance prior to being hired.
  • Registered Professional Forester license in good standing; provide copy before hiring.
  • Required to wear respiratory protection equipment (SCBA). Must be medically cleared annually per Cal/OSHA requirements.
  • Must complete CAL FIRE Firefighter Academy (FFA) and Company Officer Academy (COA) training during probationary period and maintain the Arduous Fitness Standard per department policy.
