WfF SMEs provide subject matter expertise and instruction in one or more of the six Army war fighting functions during simulation-based and classroom training. They assist in TOC support, event role playing, OPORD interpretation, and event execution.
Responsibilities- Instruct and coach students in the WfFs:
Mission Command, Intelligence, Fires, Sustainment, Protection, and Maneuver. - Serve as role players and White Cell participants during exercises.
- Analyze and interpret OPORDs and mission briefs to support student understanding.
- Provide RFI responses and briefings to reinforce doctrinal application.
- Assist in developing and tailoring scenarios to match unit objectives.
- 3+ years experience in one or more Army war fighting functions.
- Prior battalion-level operational experience or equivalent.
- Familiarity with FM 6.0, ADP 3-0, and DATE environment.
- Strong briefing and doctrinal interpretation skills.
