Salary: $6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per Month

This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by independently performing a full range of complex journey level assignments requiring analytical skills and effective written and verbal communication skills. This position will perform assignments exercising sound judgment on issues ensuring regulatory compliance within all Sections and Programs parameters. The position exercises independence, judgment, and responsibility when performing the duties including, but are not limited to, audits, accreditation, competitive contracts, and procurements.
The incumbent consults with departmental officials, employees, and others to give and secure information; prepares reports and makes recommendations on procedures, policies, and program alternatives.
Telework Information
:
This position may be eligible for telework. The amount of telework permitted is at the discretion of the Department and is subject to change, consistent with CDPH’s Telework Program. All employees who telework are required to be California residents in accordance with Government Code 14200. Candidates who reside outside of the state may be interviewed; however, the selected candidate must have a primary residency in the state of California prior to appointment (and continue to maintain California residency) as a condition of employment.
Failure to meet this requirement may result in the job offer being rescinded.
Travel
:
Travel may be required. Reimbursement for travel considers the employee’s designated headquarters and is subject to regulations and bargaining unit contract provisions. All commute expenses to the designated headquarters office are the responsibility of the selected candidate. The headquarters office location is identified in the attached duty statement.
