Associate Governmental Program Analyst/Analyst II – Title change effective January 1, 2026.
Under the direction of the Administration & Licensing Manager, the Administrative & Policy Analyst independently performs a wide variety of complex administrative, analytical, and regulatory functions. This includes acting as the primary liaison to the Board and its Government & Public Affairs Committee, coordinating regulatory and legislative initiatives, and providing high-level analytical support to BCE management. This role supports BCE’s mission of protecting California consumers through the regulation of chiropractic care.
The position is located at the BCE office within the Department of Consumer Affairs in Natomas, with on-site parking.
Works 40 hours per week in an office setting with controlled environment. Requires regular use of a computer and telephone. Occasional movement, bending, lifting up to 20 pounds, and statewide travel for quarterly Board meetings. Requires handling confidential information and maintaining privacy at all times.

Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written), exercise good judgment, solve problems creatively, manage changing priorities, and work collaboratively with BCE, DCA staff, Board members, external agencies, licensees, and the public. Maintain regular attendance and respond to the needs of BCE management.
