Job Overview
Analyst I position within the Administration Division, Office of Business and Acquisition Services (OBAS). The role supports DGS centralized procurement operations in the Contract Services Section, performing less complex analytical duties in accordance with OBAS policies and procedures, using State resources and systems.
Responsibilities- Independently perform less complex analytical duties in support of procurement operations.
- Utilize resources such as State Contract Manuals, State Administrative Manual, Government Code, Public Contract Code, OBAS Memorandums, and related materials.
- Operate with Microsoft Office Suite, FI$Cal, and Service Now in accordance with OBAS policies and procedures.
This position is eligible to telework up to three (3) days a week in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy and may be required to report to the office as needed. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment. Work location is hybrid.
Minimum RequirementsANALYST I – See Class Specification for detailed qualifications. Salary ranges include:
- A: $3,861.00 – $4,839.00
- B: $4,181.00 – $5,233.00
- C: $5,014.00 – $6,276.00
New to State candidates will be hired at the classification minimum or the minimum of the alternate range where applicable. Number of positions: 1.
