Mortgage Loan Underwriter

Hours:

9 AM - 6 PM; NO REMOTE POSITION AVAILABLE

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

• Underwrite conventional loans within the company and investors' guidelines.
• Monitor updated guidelines and compliance issues.
• Review and update information on LOS to verify, add, delete, or waive conditions.
• Contact Account Executives and/or Loan Officers with the underwriting decisions or problems.
• Coordinate with Account Coordinators to ensure smooth flow of transactions.
• Provide reports and feedback to other staff and underwriting team.
• Support remote underwriters by reviewing and clearing conditions, and coordinating to move files to Clear to Close when necessary.

• Must have at least 3 - 5 years experience as a Mortgage Loan Underwriter
• Demonstrated positive attitude, reliability, a self-starter who assumes responsibility when warranted, professional in manner, and hard working.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Mortgage Underwriting: 3 years (Preferred)
