Controller, Finance & Banking, Financial Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $180,000 to $250,000 per year.

• Oversee all ledgers reporting systems and accounting processes and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
• Maintain strong internal controls for cash receipts disbursements and fixed asset activity and support accurate job cost records.
• Coordinate annual audits, prepare timely monthly and yearly financial statements and present clear results and trends to leadership.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting, compare plans to actual results and explain variances with recommended actions.
• Manage cash flow forecasting in partnership with operations and ensure revenues and expenses align with project activity.

• A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or a related field with a CPA or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance with team leadership responsibility.
• Demonstrate skill in financial reporting budgeting treasury payroll and general ledger management.
• Work confidently in accounting and reporting systems with experience in enterprise platforms considered beneficial.
• Communicate financial concepts clearly to both financial and non financial audiences and collaborate across departments.

• Provide leadership that clarifies roles strengthens communication and develops training for accounting staff.
• Apply sound judgment integrity and a proactive approach while partnering with senior leaders on finance priorities.
• Support continuous improvement by refining policies procedures and internal controls for accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor bank covenant measures and other key indicators and deliver timely analyses to inform decisions.
• Present organized insights to executives and external stakeholders and translate complex topics into practical actions.
