DetailsJob Role:
The job position is Monday-Friday. Full time, and office based. Your main responsibilities will be to support our Finance Manager with the following duties:
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial information and investigate and explain variances in the Management Accounts.
- Support in the preparation of quarterly VAT returns & ONS reporting.
- Intercompany billing and journal entries
- Bank reconciliations
- Detailed analysis of cost of sales and overheads & general reporting
- Accruals and prepayments
- Credit Card Statement reconciliation
- Monthly analysis of Telecom lines and calls including Data services
- Assisting both purchase and sales ledger functions with:
- creation of PO’s and invoices
- creation of Sales orders and invoices
- payment allocation
- Ad hoc monthly tasks
About you:
- You will have a minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar role
- AAT Qualified or working towards (or similar CIMA, ACCA))
- Knowledge of SAP business one is desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A self-motivated organised person who can prioritise their workload in order to work to deadlines.
- Experience of working in a smaller business that has experienced growth would be an advantage.
- Confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail is paramount.
