Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Director Finance to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $110,000 to $160,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities- Lead financial operations by planning, organizing and guiding activities across accounting, reporting, budgeting and payroll for clinical and medical group entities.
- Oversee general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll processes and ensure records follow applicable accounting standards.
- Deliver timely financial statements and management reports for the CFO while maintaining compliance with local, state and federal requirements.
- Conduct financial analysis for new and existing programs and provide insights that improve margins, cost control and resource allocation.
- Strengthen internal controls, policies and procedures and partner with operational leaders to support hospital initiatives and performance goals.
- Have a Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field; a Master’s degree preferred.
- Have 3+ years of management experience in a finance role with proven team leadership.
- Possess hands‑on experience in an acute‑care hospital environment and working knowledge of healthcare finance operations.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with computer‑based accounting systems.
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, and meet deadlines with precision.
- Apply a deep understanding of healthcare accounting principles, reimbursement concepts and regulatory expectations.
- Manage payroll governance, revenue and expense oversight and balance‑sheet integrity with strong attention to detail.
- Collaborate across departments to explain financial results, guide budgets and support audits and external reporting.
- Drive process improvements and change management that enhance accuracy, efficiency and compliance.
- Exhibit strong leadership judgment and problem‑solving skills while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
