Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a Remote Payroll Specialist for the Financial Shared Services team, which provides operational and documentation support across functions such as accounts payable/receivable, invoice processing, and payroll.

• Process employee salaries and wages accurately and on time.
• Partner with external payroll providers to ensure effective end-to-end payroll processing.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory payroll requirements.
• Review and process payments, receipts, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Manage employee expense reports and time/labor updates accurately.
• Respond to payroll and financial inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain accurate payroll and financial reporting.
• Apply knowledge of payroll policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
• Build productive working relationships across internal teams and external partners.
• Lead or participate in payroll projects and assist in training junior staff when needed.

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, systems, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and apply company policies to resolve issues effectively.
