Job description

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $85, to $, per year.

• Oversee core accounting activities and monitoring partner agreements and associated financial transactions.
• Prepare regular summaries of customer activity and provide consolidated reports to external partners on scheduled intervals.
• Manage periodic funding and settlement processes, ensuring all amounts are supported with clear, organized backup.
• Record monthly activity such as payments, claim movements, and shifts in credit-related liabilities while maintaining accurate reconciliations.
• Support month end close by meeting deadlines, organizing close documentation, and analyzing large data sets to ensure accuracy.

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related major.
• Use intermediate Excel capabilities, including lookups, pivot reports, and conditional formulas.
• Apply strong analytical reasoning and communicate findings clearly to resolve issues efficiently.
• Manage multiple priorities with close attention to detail and work effectively within team environments.

• Demonstrate the ability to work independently, exercise solid judgment, and recommend practical solutions to routine challenges.
• Maintain a proactive, self motivated approach and apply creative thinking when resolving unclear or complex tasks.
• Bring experience preparing journal entries, reviewing account activity, and completing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Show comfort navigating large transactional data sets and translating them into accurate financial insights.
