Controller, Finance & Banking, CFO

A rapidly growing, multi-location healthcare services organization is seeking a Controller to build and lead its internal accounting function during a key infrastructure and growth phase. This is a newly created role offering significant ownership, executive visibility, and the opportunity to shape scalable financial processes from the ground up.

The company operates in a patient-focused, service-driven environment and is investing heavily in financial infrastructure ahead of future expansion.

This role is ideal for a hands-on Controller who enjoys building structure within a scaling organization. You’ll partner directly with senior leadership to improve reporting, implement internal controls, and transition accounting operations from an outsourced model to an internal team.

You’ll have the autonomy to evaluate current systems, introduce efficiencies, and elevate the sophistication of financial processes while supporting operational leaders with clear, actionable insights.

• Own accounting operations, reporting, and financial close processes
• Improve month-end close timelines and reporting accuracy
• Establish internal controls and scalable accounting procedures
• Assess systems and support potential ERP upgrades
• Partner closely with executive leadership and fractional finance resources
• Translate financial performance into practical insights for non-finance stakeholders
• Lead and mentor accounting staff

• Proven Controller or senior accounting leadership experience
• Background in healthcare, multi-location services, dental, or high-growth environments strongly preferred
• Experience building or transforming accounting processes
• Strong business partnership and communication skills
