Job DescriptionAs a Financial Analyst – Global Product Costing
, you will be part of the Global Product Costing team based in Utrecht, playing a key role in defining and safeguarding product cost accuracy across the business. You will be responsible for calculating, analyzing, and forecasting product costs at SKU level, directly impacting COGS and commercial decision‑making. Acting as a financial partner, you will work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, R&D, and Commercial teams.
You will translate complex cost data into clear insights to support strategic and operational decisions. This role combines strong analytical work with cross‑functional collaboration in a global FMCG environment.
- Calculate and maintain accurate standard product costs and COGS at SKU level
- Prepare and analyze cost forecasts based on commodities, conversion, and supply chain costs
- Perform product cost calculations, variance analysis, and reconciliations in SAP
- Analyze cost movements, identify key drivers, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Support New Product Development by delivering timely and accurate cost calculations
- Act as a financial business partner, ensuring cost transparency and decision support across functions
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field
- 3‑5 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Controlling, or Product Costing, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing
- Analytical skills with high accuracy, ownership, and attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Experience working with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Procurement is a strong advantage
