* To complement the current composition of the Board, our client seeks candidates who can demonstrate deep functional knowledge and leadership experience in one or more of the following disciplines:
* Credit & SME Banking:
Extensive experience in credit risk management, SME lending strategies, and portfolio management within the Zambian context
* Tax, Finance & Accounting:
Professional qualifications (CA Zambia, ACCA, CIMA) with a strong background in financial reporting, tax strategy, and corporate finance.
* Law & Human Resources:
Legal expertise in corporate/commercial law, labour law, and governance, combined with high-level human capital strategy and industrial relations experience
* Audit, Risk & Regulatory Compliance:
Proven ability to chair Audit and Risk committees, with deep knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Bank of Zambia regulations, and enterprise risk management frameworks.
* Information Technology & Cybersecurity:
Expertise in digital transformation, IT governance, cybersecurity architecture, and data protection compliance
* Banking & Financial Services Industry: Generalists with a distinguished career track record at the C-Suite level within the financial services sector.
