Associate Financial Advisor - Coastal Wealth Advisors

This full‑time, onsite role supports our existing client base by working with the Lead Advisor or independently. The Associate Financial Advisor provides day‑to‑day support, manages client relationships, and assists with financial planning tools and portfolio maintenance.

• Maintain existing client relationships through processing client requests, resolving client questions, and ensuring client information and documentation are up to date.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while servicing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
• Provide client information, answer product‑related questions, and assist with transactions and service requests.
• Assist Lead Advisors in the preparation and follow‑up for client meetings.
• Update and maintain client information in planning tools (Salesforce, Money Guide Pro, Morningstar, and others).
• Fill out and sign Variable Life, Variable Annuity, Mutual Fund, and Brokerage applications.
• Complete electronic and paper service forms and new business applications.
• Accept and enter trade orders from clients, including unsolicited trade orders.
• Identify potential sales opportunities with new and existing clients and partner with Financial Advisors to help close the opportunity.
• Take notes during client meetings and handle all post‑meeting tasks.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Advisor.

• Securities (Series 7 and 66 or Series 7, 63 and 65) and resident state Life, Health and Annuities registration.
• Satisfactory background check, fingerprinting and securities registration and/or insurance licensing verification (if applicable).
• Previous financial services experience desired, 3‑5 years preferred.
• Demonstrated customer service orientation/experience, 3+ years preferred.
• Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce) or ability to learn.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions.
• Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information.

• Must be able to work with all roles of the sponsoring financial advisor.
• Must be able to represent the organization in work with external clients.
• Must be able to cultivate and maintain relationships with outside organizations.

The package includes a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000, splits for new business as well as potential bonuses, participation in a Simple IRA plan with employer match and option of medical stipend. Compensation will be market and situation‑based.
