Executive Tax Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Executive Tax Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $200,000 to $225,000 per year.

• Oversee tax compliance and planning activities for a broad range of clients and entity types.
• Review complex tax filings and ensure the accuracy and completeness of work prepared by the team.
• Provide strategic tax guidance to individuals and businesses to support long-term financial planning.
• Research complex tax matters to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local requirements.
• Lead client discussions to explain tax strategies, address concerns, and identify planning opportunities.

• Strong technical expertise in individual, corporate, partnership, and trust taxation.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements while maintaining high levels of accuracy and professionalism.
• Proficiency with tax preparation software and advanced Excel functions.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to guide and support tax staff.

• CPA certification required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a master’s degree in taxation.
• At least 8+ years of progressive tax experience in a public accounting environment.
• Demonstrate experience managing tax projects and leading teams.
• Background in multi-state tax compliance and planning.
