A South Bay start up is looking for a Strategic Finance Manager to add to their team. In this newly created position, the Strategic Finance Manager will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management. To be successful in this role, the Strategic Finance Manager must be a builder, analytical, and start up capable. Does that sound like you or someone you know?

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field
• 7+ years of strategic finance experience
• MUST have investment banking experience
• Startup experience a plus

• Lead enterprise-wide financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning efforts
• Build, enhance, and maintain robust financial models to support long-term outlooks, annual plans, scenario analysis, and ongoing performance tracking
• Oversee recurring business reviews, including month-end and quarter-end variance analysis and insights for leadership
• Produce and coordinate financial materials for executive management, the board, and external stakeholders on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Establish and maintain key performance metrics and reporting dashboards relied upon by senior leadership and the board
• Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, operations, supply chain, and other partners to monitor spending, workforce plans, program budgets, and capital investment decisions
• Drive improvements to ERP and systems to strengthen data integrity, reporting structure, and overall financial visibility
• Develop scalable FP&A processes, tools, and reporting frameworks that evolve alongside the company's growth
• Act as a strategic advisor to leadership, supporting decision-making, trade-off analysis, and special initiatives
• Contribute to building a strong, future-ready FP&A organization as the company continues to scale
