Senior Auditor

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Auditor to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $95,000 to $110,000 per year.

• Lead audit and review engagements from planning through completion, ensuring work is executed efficiently and accurately.
• Perform walkthroughs, risk assessments, and detailed testing to evaluate internal controls and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review work papers with strong documentation standards and support for audit conclusions.
• Communicate directly with clients to coordinate requests, address questions, and provide status updates.
• Support improvements to audit methodologies, templates, and internal processes to enhance consistency and quality.

• Solid understanding of audit principles, documentation standards, and assurance methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple engagement areas while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and interacting with clients professionally.
• Comfortable working in an in-office setting and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
• Ability to raise issues early and provide thoughtful recommendations for resolution.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on assurance services.
• CPA license preferred or actively in progress.
• Prior experience with reviews, compilations, or clients with complex inventory.
• Familiarity with audit software platforms such as Caseware, CCH Engagement, or similar tools.
