Operations Financial Analyst

The Doe Run Company is a privately held natural resources company, one of the largest lead producers in the Western Hemisphere, based in St. Louis, Missouri. The company operates facilities in Missouri, Washington, and Arizona and is dedicated to environmentally responsible mineral and metal production.

• Financial & Operational Analytics:
  Conduct variance analysis and trend analysis to support management decisions, prepare and analyze financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, and assist in month end closing as needed.
• Project Management Support:
  Participate in planning and financial evaluation of capital and operational projects, monitor project budgets and forecasts, review Authority for Expenditures, and analyze ROI and payback to ensure projects meet financial and strategic objectives.
• Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning:
  Support preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts and assist the Operations Controller in weekly and monthly forecasting.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with operational leaders, engineers, and project managers to align financial insights with operational strategies.
• Other Duties:
  Undertake additional financial analysis and project-related tasks as required.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferable.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial analysis roles.
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  
  CPA, CMA, CFA, or equivalent; highly desirable.

• Advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adaptive, and People Soft.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective organizational and time‑management skills.
